The two things that derail a clean
Almost every cleaning job that goes wrong goes wrong for one of two reasons, and both are fixable on the post.
Say who brings what, and how they get in.
A cleaner sizes your job from the post. If supplies and access are not in it they are guessing — and a guess is what turns a two-hour clean into a phone call from your parking lot at 9 PM.
Supplies — On site, or the cleaner brings their own? Vacuum, mop, chemicals, liners, and paper all count.
Access — Keys, lockbox, badge, alarm code, gate, loading dock — and who to call when one of them does not work.
Windows — The hours the space is genuinely available, including how late is too late for the neighbours.
On “vetted” — here is exactly what that means. Every worker on the platform has passed a background check, and you can see ratings and past jobs before you accept anyone. That is not the same as a bonded janitorial firm carrying its own commercial policy. If your building requires a certificate of insurance, cleaning-specific credentials, or a named vendor on file, put it on the post and confirm it on the worker's profile before you accept — and talk to us first if it is a hard building requirement.
