Logistics

Across town by noon.
Not next business day.

A client contract needs a wet signature this afternoon. Catering has to be at the venue before doors. A store is out of a SKU that's sitting on the shelf across town. Post the run with the pickup, the drop, and the window, and connect with couriers already nearby — not a carrier's next scheduled sweep.

Three situations this actually solves

Not a category description — the calls operations managers are already making.

Typical runs
It has to be there today
Signed contracts, checks, lab samples, a part a tech is standing around waiting for. Post the pickup, the drop, and the window and reach couriers who can take it now rather than a carrier whose next sweep is tomorrow morning.
It moves between your own sites
Stock transfers, sample kits, tools, and equipment going store to store or site to site. Point-to-point, priced per run — without standing up a fleet to cover it.
Your customer is already waiting
Catering drops before doors, retail same-day, B2B deliveries a client has asked about twice. Recurring or one-off, sized to the day rather than to a contract minimum.
Scope

This is how your request lands

The moment you post, couriers nearby see it in the Gopher Go app exactly like this. Delivery runs are set-price — you name the number, and the courier who takes it earns 100% of it.

Vehicles & proof

What a courier actually brings

Delivery is where an assumption gets expensive, so here is the honest version.

Say the vehicle. Say the proof.

Gopher couriers drive their own vehicles, and what they drive varies — sedan to cargo van. Nothing is dispatched with a guaranteed vehicle class, so put the requirement on the post and confirm it before you accept.

  • Vehicle — Say whether it needs a van, a truck bed, or just a trunk. Cargo dimensions belong in the scope.
  • Handling — Temperature, fragility, upright-only, hand truck. A courier sizes the run before accepting it.
  • Proof — A photo at drop-off is standard. If you need a signature or a named recipient, say so on the post.
Read this if the delivery is regulated. Age-restricted items — alcohol and the like — run through Gopher's age-restricted flow, where the courier checks ID at drop-off. Controlled substances, hazardous materials, and anything that needs a specific carrier endorsement are not general-courier work — ask us before you post one rather than after. Every worker on the platform has passed a background check; that is a separate thing from a regulated-goods credential.
How it works

Posted to delivered

1

Describe the run

Pickup, drop-off, what's moving, the window, and the vehicle it needs. A photo of the load helps a courier size it before accepting.

2

Set what you'll pay

Your offer is what the courier earns — 100% of it. Name the number that fits the run's time and effort.

3

Pick who takes it

Review profiles, ratings, and vehicle. Hire, consider, or deny — and save the good ones to MY Gophers.

4

Confirm when it's done

Confirm and rate on completion, which releases payment. Something not right? Dispute instead and give them a chance to fix it.
