How staffing more than one person works
This is where a marketplace behaves differently from a staffing agency, so it is worth being plain about it.
You post the shift. You pick every person on it.
Connect does not dispatch a crew as a unit. Each seat is filled by a worker who accepted your post, and you approve each one — which is why the flags on the cards above read 1 of 2 crew rather than naming a company.
Headcount — Say how many people the shift needs. The post stays open until the seats are filled.
Repeat crews — Save the ones who worked out to MY Gophers, and prioritize them the next time you post.
Hours — Set the window and the duration. Workers see both before they accept, so nobody arrives surprised.
Be realistic about last-minute fills. Coverage depends on how many Gophers are active near you at that hour, and that genuinely varies by market — Gopher iQ will tell you what your area looks like rather than promising a crew we cannot see. Single-seat, same-day shifts fill most reliably; a six-person overnight posted at 4 PM is a harder ask. Post early where you can, and open it to bids if you would rather compare than guess at the rate.
